ISLAND TRANSPORTATION

While the rest of the world is taking the trains, planes, automobiles, camel, horse, donkey, hot air balloon, bicycles, tri-cycles, motorbikes & ferries, we here on Caye Caulker take the WATER TAXI, the main mode of transportation.
Prompt, reliable, reasonable service with a view.
Photo taken on this day, packed to the point that we couldn't even take a message. These sea faring vessels pack a lot of power with three 200 horsepower engines and is certainly not a slow boat. The boat carried at least one of every race you could find in Belize - mestizo, minnonite, creole, garifuna, spanish, mayan etc., the real rice & beans mix-up.
Ride to Belize City (mainland) 45 minutes.
Cost $7.50 usd one way.
