Love Song to a Planet is a benefit concert and eco-tourism festival that will be held on the 21st of February to raise funds for the STAND Center's EARTH KEEPERS program (see below). It is our intention for this to become an annual event somewhat like the Agricultural Fair show but much smaller and much more concentrated in it's focus which will be environment, culture, and ecotourism. Love Song to a planet will begin at 1 PM and continue until 6 pm. The main focus will be the music which will begin at 2:00 pm and continue until 6:00 pm. This year we will add the element of an eco-tourism festival comprised of various booths. It is our hope that this will draw in a larger crowd and thus generate greater funds for the EARTH KEEPERS program. Children at various schools will be given free admission to encourage their excitement from the very beginning about the EARTH KEEPERS program. The booths will be setup by various ecotourism related entities and institutions such as tour guide companies and lodges as well as local artisans. PACT and NICH will also setup booths at the festival to help attendees better understand ecotourism and it's role in Belize.
